Nardaran Qalası

Nardaran Qalası is a medieval fortress in the Nardaran settlement north of Baku, on the Absheron Peninsula.
It was built around 1301 by architect Mahmud ibn Sad and served as a lookout and defensive stronghold during the Shirvanshah period. Today it is recognized as an important heritage monument and is also noted for its square courtyard, central cylindrical tower, and stone walls.
