The Nebraska Statewide Arboretum is a network of nearly 100 arboreta, botanical gardens, parks, and other public landscapes spread across 56 communities in Nebraska, coordinated from its office at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.

Founded in 1978 as a partnership with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources, it aims to promote and sell native plants to support environmentally sustainable landscapes statewide. The arboretum encompasses large collections at various sites such as Gilman Park in Pierce, Joslyn Castle in Omaha, and others, representing Nebraska's diverse flora.

It serves not only as an educational and conservation resource but also as a way to connect communities with native plant species and environmentally conscious gardening practices throughout Nebraska.​
