Nickelodeon Universe in Bloomington, Minnesota, at the Mall of America, opened in 1992 as the nation's first indoor Nickelodeon theme park spanning seven acres with 27 rides themed to SpongeBob, PAW Patrol, Dora, Avatar, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for all ages including five roller coasters like thrilling SpongeBob SquarePants Rock Bottom Plunge Euro-Fighter, Pepsi Orange Streak, Fairly Odd Coaster, Avatar Airbender halfpipe, and Back at the Barnyard Hayride junior.

Family favorites feature Log Chute flume, Ghostblasters dark ride, BrainSurge spinner, Shredder’s Mutant Masher pendulum, Carousel, and kiddie zones with PAW Patrol Adventure Bay playground, Rugrats Reptarmobiles, and Boots’ Banana Swing, plus extras like Rock of Ages blacklight mini-golf and Dutchman’s Deck ropes course.
