The Northern Beach Heligoland Düne is located on Düne, the tiny uninhabited side island about one kilometer from the main island of Heligoland in Germany's North Sea, and is renowned as an exclusive, car-free bathing paradise and Germany's smallest nature reserve.

This pristine beach area is famous for its natural seal banks where hundreds of grey seals and harbor seals can be observed in their natural habitat, often within just 30 meters of visitors since the animals have become accustomed to humans.
