Oranienbaum Palace
Oranienbaum-Wörlitz, Germany, Germany
Oranienbaum Palace in Oranienbaum-Wörlitz, Germany, is a rare example of Dutch Baroque architecture built from 1681–1698 by Dutch architect Cornelis Ryckwaert for Princess Henriette Catharina of Orange-Nassau, wife of Prince Johann Georg II of Anhalt-Dessau, initially as her summer residence and later expanded into a three-winged Witwensitz after his 1693 death.
Featuring opulent interiors like the Tiled Cellar, Leather Wallpaper Room, and mirrored Crystal Hall alongside geometrically aligned town planning and a 28-hectare park transformed into an English-Chinese garden by Prince Leopold III Friedrich Franz, it forms part of the UNESCO-listed Dessau-Wörlitz Garden Kingdom with Europe's longest orangery housing citrus plants.
