Ormara Turtle Beaches is a 10 km stretch of sandy shoreline along the Makran coast in Balochistan, Pakistan, near the town of Ormara, and is recognized as one of the country’s most important nesting sites for marine turtles.

The area covers about 2,400 hectares and has been designated a Ramsar Site, meaning it is a wetland of international importance for wildlife and habitat conservation. It mainly hosts endangered species such as olive ridley and green turtles, which come ashore to lay their eggs in the relatively undisturbed sand, while the beach itself remains quiet, with soft golden sand, clear waters, and minimal crowds.

The site faces threats from plastic pollution and illegal capture of turtles, so local and international efforts focus on protecting the nesting grounds and encouraging responsible tourism along this ecologically sensitive coast.
