Palazzo Pusterla Melzi, also known as Castello Pusterla-Melzi, is a historic complex in the center of Tradate that originated as a fortified castle in the 14th century.

It was owned for centuries by the noble Pusterla family, who gradually transformed it from a defensive stronghold into an elegant Renaissance-style residence surrounded by gardens and parkland. In 1814 the property passed to the Melzi family and later to Barbara Melzi, who became a Canossian nun and left the estate to the Canossian Sisters.

The complex subsequently took on educational and charitable functions, including a boarding school and care services for the local community. Today, the palace retains parts of its medieval walls along with richly decorated historic rooms, including frescoed halls and portrait galleries. It serves as a convent and educational institution, making it one of the most significant architectural and historical landmarks in Tradate.
