Palm'sches Schloss
Stuttgart, Germany, Germany
Palm'sches Schloss in Stuttgart, Germany, is a neoclassical-style palace built in 1813 by Jonathan Freiherr von Palm on the foundations of an earlier dilapidated manor in the Mühlhausen district, perched at about 221 meters overlooking the Feuerbach Valley.
Expanded around 1895 with half-timbered gables, turrets, and a connecting Romanesque-style wing—some features lost to wartime damage and postwar reconstruction—it features Palladio windows, a meander frieze, and a small park with historical elements like a 1734 well house, lion-spouted fountain, and nearby Engelburg ruins.
Acquired by the city in 1933 and protected as a monument since 1971, it now functions as the Mühlhausen district town hall housing administrative offices, a notary, courses, and events, blending aristocratic heritage with practical civic use amid scenic greenery.
