Qalat Khawari Castle (also written Qal‘at Khawari or Qalat Khawari fortress) is a historic fortress located in Arsanjan County, Fars Province, in southern Iran.

The castle dates back to the Sasanian Empire (224–651 CE), and it is one of the many early Iranian fortifications that were built on elevated terrain to control the surrounding plains and trade routes. Although detailed descriptions of the site are scarce in English sources, it is listed among the important castles of Iran and is recognized as a Sasanian‑era military structure, reflecting the period’s use of stone and mud‑brick construction and strategic placement on high ground for surveillance and defense.

Its presence in Arsanjan County adds to the region’s rich historical landscape, which includes other Sasanian and post‑Sasanian sites and fortifications, and it serves as a reminder of the area’s role as a transit and settlement zone in ancient and medieval times.
