Notably, the garden also preserves fossilized dinosaur tracks from species like Megapnosaurus and Dilophosaurus, dating back about 200 million years.

Designed as an educational resource by local water and environmental organizations, it demonstrates sustainable irrigation practices and highlights the beauty of desert ecosystems. Its location on a red rock bluff offers panoramic views of St. George and surrounding landscapes. Admission is free, it is open daily from early morning until late evening, and it welcomes leashed dogs.
