Ricadi is a small coastal town and municipality in the province of Vibo Valentia in Calabria, southern Italy, perched on a rocky outcrop where the Calabrian Apennines meet the Tyrrhenian Sea.

With a population of about 4,900 residents, it spans from an upland plain down to the famous Capo Vaticano promontory, which divides the Gulf of Sant'Eufemia from the Gulf of Gioia Tauro. Ricadi is renowned for its stunning beaches, including the crystal-clear turquoise waters and fine sand of Capo Vaticano and the cliff-backed Formicoli beach, making it a popular unspoiled beach destination.

The area has a rich history dating back to prehistoric times, with later settlements by Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Arabs, and Normans, and features defensive towers along its rugged coastline as well as medieval structures. The town became independent in 1799 after previously being part of Tropea, and today it offers visitors a blend of natural beauty, ancient archaeological sites, and authentic Calabrian hospitality with mild winters and hot, dry summers ideal for coastal exploration.
