Ringwallanlage "Heisterschlösschen" is the remnant of an early medieval ringwall fortification, also known as Hünenschloss or Heisterburg, located on the Heisterberg hill near Beckedorf in Lower Saxony, Germany.
Dating from around 800 to 1200 AD, this oval hilltop site features a 65-meter-diameter central ringwall, now about 1.5 meters high with visible ditches and remnants of a former stone wall built using sandstone and lime mortar.
Likely serving as a refuge castle (Fliehburg) for locals during times of war rather than a permanent noble residence, it overlooks wooded terrain near an ancient trade route akin to the modern B65 highway, with sparse excavation finds supporting its temporary use.
