Rocca dei Borgia, also known as the Borgia Fortress or Rocca di Nepi, is the most important historic monument in the town of Nepi, Lazio.

Built on the foundations of earlier Roman and medieval defenses, the fortress was extensively expanded in the late 15th century under Cardinal Rodrigo Borgia, who later became Pope Alexander VI, and was closely associated with his daughter Lucrezia Borgia.

Over time, the Farnese family further strengthened and enlarged the complex, transforming it into a significant Renaissance stronghold. Today, the restored fortress stands as a striking symbol of Nepi’s long history, combining medieval, Renaissance, and ancient Roman elements in a dramatic setting overlooking the town.
