Rocca di Montevitozzo, also known as the Roccaccia di Montevitozzo, is a ruined medieval fortress near the village of Montevitozzo in the municipality of Sorano, southern Tuscany.

Built by the powerful Aldobrandeschi family, the castle occupied a strategic hilltop position that allowed control of the surrounding valleys and important routes through the region. During the Middle Ages, the fortress was contested by various noble families and powers, including the Ottieri, the Republic of Siena, the Orsini of Pitigliano, and later the Medici rulers of Tuscany.

Over time, it lost its military importance and gradually fell into ruin. Today, imposing remnants of the walls and the base of a former watchtower still stand on the hilltop. Surrounded by forests and nature reserves, the site offers spectacular panoramic views across the Tuscan countryside, making it a rewarding destination for visitors interested in history, hiking, and scenic landscapes.
