Rocca Sanvitale is a historic fortified residence in Fontanellato, Italy, originally constructed in the 12th century and largely completed by the 15th century with later 18th-century enhancements. This moated castle, surrounded by imposing crenelated walls and corner towers, was home to the Sanvitale family for around six centuries until it was sold to the municipality in 1948.

Inside, it houses remarkable Mannerist frescoes by Parmigianino, particularly the famous "Diana and Actaeon" in a small, windowless room known as the Camera Picta. The castle combines medieval military architecture with noble residential features and includes a unique optical chamber that projects views of the town via mirrors.

Today, the Rocca serves partly as a museum, showcasing its artistic treasures and historic interiors, while also functioning as a venue for cultural events and local government offices, reflecting its dual role as a symbol of heritage and community life.
