Roger Williams Park Botanical Center in Providence, Rhode Island, opened in 2007 and is the largest indoor public garden in New England, spanning about 12,000 square feet.

It consists of two connected greenhouses including a large conservatory with tall palms and tropical plants, fountains, a fish pond, and a small waterfall, creating a lush and inviting atmosphere. The center houses over 150 species and cultivars of plants such as palms, cacti, agave, and aloe, many of which were transplanted from older greenhouse displays.

Situated in the historic Roger Williams Park, which dates back to 1871 and was designed as a retreat from industrialization, the Botanical Center offers year-round floral displays and themed gardens including a Mediterranean Room, perennial garden, pine and hosta dell, and a rose maze outdoors.

The park containing the center features diverse amenities like a zoo, museum, carousel, and extensive walking paths, making it a popular place for families and nature lovers to explore and relax regardless of the season.
