“Rosengarten” in Germany usually refers to several different places, depending on context.

In Munich, the Rosengarten is a small public rose garden off Sachsenstraße by the Isar river, originally created as a trial and teaching garden for ornamental plants and later redesigned into a denser rose and tree display that visitors can enjoy for free.

In the town of Braubach on the Rhine, the Rosengarten is a large riverside park famous for its many rose beds and the specially bred “Zauber der Loreley” rose, often associated with Braubach’s nickname as a “rose town.”

There are also two municipalities named Rosengarten: one in the Schwäbisch Hall district of Baden‑Württemberg and another in the Harburg district of Lower Saxony near Hamburg, both of them rural towns rather than formal rose gardens.
