Ruinen Jagdschloss Schaudichnichtum
Bad Dürkheim, Germany, Germany
Ruinen Jagdschloss Schaudichnichtum, located southwest of Bad Dürkheim in Germany's Palatine Forest, was an 18th-century Baroque hunting lodge built around 1730 by Freiherr Jakob Tillmann von Hallberg, who leased the hunting grounds from the Elector Palatine.
Like its quirky-named neighbors—Kehrdichannichts, Murrmirnichtviel, and Jägerthal—it served as a retreat for Palatine nobility during forest hunts on the border between Limburger and Leininger territories. Destroyed during the French Revolution in 1793, today only faint ground-level wall remnants, terrain traces, and a memorial stone (Ritterstein 270) remain amid hiking trails.
