Santuario della Santa Casa in Tresivio is one of the most important Marian shrines in Valtellina, located on the vineyard-covered hill of Tronchedo near Sondrio.

Built between 1646 and 1790, it was created as a votive sanctuary following the devastating plague of 1630 and became a major destination for pilgrimage and devotion in the region. The sanctuary is known for its impressive Baroque architecture and for housing an 18th-century replica of the Holy House of Nazareth, inspired by the famous shrine at Loreto.

At its center stands a revered statue of the Black Madonna, making the site an important place of worship dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Today, the sanctuary is admired for both its religious significance and artistic heritage. Its spacious interior, historic artworks, and panoramic setting above the valley make it one of the most remarkable cultural and spiritual landmarks in the Province of Sondrio.
