Sarasota Jungle Gardens is a family‑friendly botanical and animal park in Sarasota, Florida, operating since 1939 on about 10 acres of lush, subtropical landscaping lined with winding jungle trails.

It is best known for its large flock of free‑roaming pink flamingos that visitors can walk among and hand‑feed, along with dozens of native and exotic animals such as parrots, reptiles, alligators, crocodiles, lemurs, and birds of prey, many of them rescued or donated.

The site offers daily interactive and educational shows featuring birds and reptiles, plus hands‑on experiences like holding small animals or posing with a parrot, all set within shaded paths suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. 

Sarasota Jungle Gardens also has a small café, gift shop, playground, and koi pond, and it functions as both a historic attraction and a living classroom that combines Florida‑style entertainment with informal nature education.
