Schloss Buchenau is a historic Renaissance castle located in Buchenau, a district of Eiterfeld in Germany's Fulda region.
Built between 1611 and 1618 by Georg Melchior von Buchenau and his wife Agnes von Schwalbach in the distinctive Weser Renaissance style, it features two two- to three-story wings arranged at right angles around an inner courtyard, accented by round towers and ornate gabled facades.
The von Schenck zu Schweinsberg family owned it from 1694 until 1912, and since 2000, it has operated as a conference hotel offering modern accommodations, seminar rooms, and dining while preserving its architectural heritage.
