Schloss Eschelberg is a historic castle in St. Gotthard im Mühlkreis, Upper Austria, first recorded in 1209 and later rebuilt in Renaissance style in the late 16th century. It sits on a narrow ridge above the surrounding landscape and still preserves much of its old castle layout, including parts of the medieval core. Today it is privately managed and used for events and cultural activities, while remaining an important landmark of the Mühlviertel region.
