Schloss Kläden
Bismark, Germany, Germany
Schloss Kläden is a late Baroque manor house built in 1753-1754 in the village of Kläden, part of Bismark in Saxony-Anhalt's Stendal district, Germany, after a fire destroyed its predecessor, with a second story and mansard roof added in 1827.
Featuring a symmetrical nine-axle facade with pilasters, stucco ceilings blending late Baroque and neoclassical styles, a courtyard flanked by matching brick stables, and remnants of a once-grand park, it served noble families like the von Kläden, von Jeetze, and von Bassewitz-Levetzow as an estate until 1945 land reforms.
Postwar uses included a workers' house and administrative offices, and today it houses a senior daycare center in private ownership amid the protected historic village core.
