Schloss Leubnitz
Rosenbach, Vogtland, Germany
Schloss Leubnitz, located in the village of Leubnitz within Rosenbach in the Vogtland region of Germany, was built in 1794 in an early Classicist style by Heinrich Wilhelm von Kospoth on the site of a manor that had burned down in 1763.
The castle features a notable festivity hall called the "White Hall," richly decorated with stucco marble and originally used as a music hall. Around 1890, a landscape park of about 12 hectares was created, complementing the castle and offering scenic walking and recreation.
The estate remained in the possession of the von Kospoth family until their expropriation in 1945. Today, the castle is owned by the municipality of Rosenbach and hosts a permanent exhibition on nature and hunting, alongside rotating art exhibitions and musical events.
The castle park and its cultural programs make it an important historical and community site in the Vogtland area.
