Schloss Lieser
Lieser, Germany, Germany
Schloss Lieser is a striking 19th-century Neo-Renaissance and Art Nouveau castle in Lieser, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, overlooking the Moselle River near Bernkastel-Kues.
Built between 1884 and 1887 by industrialist Eduard Puricelli as his residence, it was later expanded around 1895-1906 for Clemens Freiherr von Schorlemer and hosted Kaiser Wilhelm II multiple times. After years of neglect, extensive restoration transformed it into the Schloss Lieser Autograph Collection luxury hotel, blending historic grandeur with modern amenities amid vineyards.
