Schloss Mochental is a baroque manor house near Ehingen an der Donau in the Swabian Alb, originally built in the early 18th century as a summer residence for the abbots of the nearby monastic estate.

Today the castle is best known as the home of Galerie Schrade, one of Germany’s largest and most prominent private art galleries, which uses roughly 2,500 square meters of the historic building for rotating exhibitions. The gallery presents works from classical modern art through to contemporary pieces, often featuring both established and younger artists, and the artwork is displayed within the ornate baroque rooms and corridors of the palace.

Located in the small village of Mochental, Schloss Mochental with Galerie Schrade functions as a combined cultural landmark and art venue, open to visitors on specific days for guided and self‑guided tours.
