Schloss Museum Glauchau in Glauchau, Germany, is a vast medieval castle complex built around 1170-1180 by the Lords of Schönburg as a spur castle high above the Zwickauer Mulde valley, later transformed into a late-Gothic residential palace by 1470 with arched windows, a banquet hall, chapel, and Renaissance elements like ornate gables.

Expanded in the 16th century with the adjacent Forderglauchau wing separated by a neck ditch, it served as the family's ancestral seat through divisions and modernizations until housing one of Saxony's oldest museums founded in 1884, now in Hinterglauchau since 1940.

The museum showcases over 70,000 items on castle history, local weavers' lives, stately interiors from Renaissance to Historismus, fine arts, and mineralogist Georgius Agricola's legacy.
