Schloss Neindorf
Germany, Germany
Schloss Neindorf is a neoclassical manor in Neindorf near Oschersleben, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, constructed between 1824 and 1827 by architect Johann Philipp August Bunge for the Counts of Asseburg on the site of a medieval knight's estate first mentioned in 1257.
The elegant two-winged structure connects to a 1582 Gothic chapel still used for worship, featuring lavish interiors like a grand library wing added later, surrounded by estate lands that supplied regional monasteries and castles.
Owned by the von der Asseburg family until 1945 expropriation, it served as a hospital until 2004 before private restoration.
