Schloss Nudersdorf
Wittenberg, Germany, Germany
Schloss Nudersdorf is an 18th-century manor house in Nudersdorf, a district of Lutherstadt Wittenberg in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, first emerging as a knight's seat in the 16th century under owners like Chancellor Gregorius Brück, who received it as a fief in 1548, and later the von Löser family from 1622.
Ravaged during the Thirty Years' War around 1640, it was rebuilt and expanded by Eustachius Löser with economic buildings, a park bathhouse, and salon by 1733, passing to the Leyser academic family in 1738 before industrial growth and medical uses like a spa by the Luther brothers in 1849.
The L-shaped complex with living quarters, stables, brewery, and veranda supported local agriculture until post-WWII changes, preserving its ties to Reformation-era nobility and rural prosperity.
