Schloss Ringelsdorf
Genthin, Germany, Germany
Schloss Ringelsdorf in Ringelsdorf, part of Tucheim near Genthin in Saxony-Anhalt's Jerichower Land district, Germany, serves as the manor house of a former estate originally a Vorwerk of Gut Dretzel, inherited by Adelgunde von Ostau (née von Stilke) and her husband Heinrich from Ludwig Hermann von Stilke.
Built in 1870 in historicist style with an asymmetrical layout, high basement, two-story plastered structure under a steep multi-part roof, square west tower, northeast round corner tower, and later single-story entrance extension with side risalit and grand staircase, it was restored in 1999-2000.
A second reform architecture residence by Berlin architect Alfred Grenander arose south of it from 1912-1915 for publisher Hermann Stilke, spanning 1282 hectares until 1945 when it became a senior home, now functioning as the social therapeutic center Schloss Ringelsdorf.
