Schloss Surenburg in Hörstel, Germany, is a moated castle on two artificial islands first documented in 1474, though its origins trace back to around 1400 as a Münster bishop's estate, with the oldest northern wing from the late 16th century and major expansions in the 18th century creating its unified three-winged Baroque appearance.

Key features include a neo-Gothic chapel built around 1865 by Hilger Hertel, Renaissance roofs, a grand staircase tower with stone lions, and a French garden from 1752 later restyled as an English landscape park, all surrounded by water-filled moats.

Still privately owned by the Heereman von Zuydtwyck family since the 18th century, the residence hosts equestrian events at nearby Riesenbeck and remains closed to the public, though its exterior is visible on scenic walks.
