Schlosspark Trebnitz
Müncheberg, Germany, Germany
Schlosspark Trebnitz is a historic 65-acre estate park in Trebnitz, a district of Müncheberg in Brandenburg, Germany, originally designed in strict Baroque geometric style in the early 18th century by plant enthusiast Georg Friedrich von Ziethen, who introduced over 3,000 plant species including exotics like the tulip tree.
It was later redesigned in the 19th century into an open English landscape garden with natural pathways, sight lines, and open spaces, creating an ecologically rich area amid farmland that's now protected as a garden monument.
Today, local "Park Heroes" are revitalizing it since 2011 as a public recreation spot with nature trails, sports, cultural events, and ties to the adjacent Schloss Trebnitz, an educational and international meeting center in a neo-Baroque manor first mentioned in 1224.
