Schlossruine Arnsberg in Arnsberg, Germany, is a medieval castle ruin perched on the 256-meter-high Schlossberg above the historic town center, originally built around 1100 by the Counts of Werl-Arnsberg as their residence and the seed of the city's development.

Transformed into a Renaissance palace in 1575 under Elector Salentin of Isenburg, further rebuilt in 1654 and lavishly redesigned in Baroque style from 1739 by architect Johann Conrad Schlaun for Elector Clemens August, it was destroyed in 1762 during the Seven Years' War.

Today, the accessible ruins feature preserved wall remnants, a bergfried stump, and scenic views over the Ruhr Valley, hosting annual events like the Ruinenfest and Krimidinner amid a landscaped park with war memorials. The ruins showcase weathered stone walls amid forested hills, highlighting their dramatic hilltop setting.
