Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU) is a public research university located in Khairpur Mirs, Sindh, Pakistan, named after the renowned mystic poet and spiritualist Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai.

The university was founded in 1976 as a single campus and officially established on August 12, 1986, under a charter from the Government of Sindh, and has grown significantly while maintaining its reputation for academic excellence in the northern region of Sindh. SALU is the premier institution of higher education in Upper Sindh and the only university in the region catering to academic needs across diverse disciplines, including Natural Sciences, Physical Sciences, Social Sciences, Arts & Languages, Education, Management Sciences, and Law.

The university comprises 29 departments and institutes spread across seven faculties, employing more than 234 well-qualified faculty members, with most being young and foreign-qualified scholars. The main campus covers 302.22 acres of land with lush green lawns, playgrounds, and trees, located just 3 kilometers from Khairpur town near the National Highway, with easy access by air through Sukkur Airport (30 minutes away), rail via Khairpur Railway Station (5 kilometers away), and bus services.
