Sisi Berd is a small, medieval fortified site located near the village of Vahagnadzor in the Lori Province of Armenia, recorded in scholarly lists of Armenian castles simply as “Sisi Berd” and dated to the Middle Ages rather than to a specific century.

The name literally means “Sisi Fortress” in Armenian, and the site is described in sources as one of the most difficult to reach fortresses in the country, accessible mainly by a steep, rugged path through the mountains rather than by road. Little detailed historical information is publicly available about its exact date, builders, or role, but its remote hilltop position and modest remains suggest it was a local defensive stronghold, possibly used to control mountain passes and surround settlements in the Vahagnadzor area during the medieval period.

Today Sisi Berd is known mainly to adventurous hikers and local travelers as a secluded, almost wild ruin set in dramatic mountain scenery, rather than as a major tourist landmark with extensive facilities or museum displays.
