It started as an adult-oriented venue requiring a driver's license and featuring a bar and restaurant but evolved over the years to focus on family-friendly racing activities such as go-karts and scaled race cars. The park was one of the rebranded former Malibu Grand Prix locations, and it served multiple generations of visitors with attractions including go-kart racing and miniature golf.

In April 2022, SpeedZone Los Angeles was acquired by Boomers Parks and rebranded to Boomers! Los Angeles, expanding its amusement offerings beyond racing to include arcade games and rides. The park had been a longstanding community spot for fun and entertainment since the late 1990s, adapting its facility and attractions over time to meet evolving visitor preferences.
