St. Peter‑Ording‑Strand is a vast, flat sandy beach on the North Sea coast of Schleswig‑Holstein, Germany, stretching roughly 12 kilometers in length and up to about 2 kilometers wide in places around the resort town of Sankt Peter‑Ording.

It is one of the largest continuous mainland beaches in Germany, known for its fine sand, gentle waves, and wide open space that gives visitors plenty of room for walking, sunbathing, and various water sports. The beach is lined with iconic wooden pile‑dwellings serving as restaurants and viewing platforms, campsites, surf and kite‑surfing schools, and a long pier extending out toward the sea, all set against a backdrop of dunes and the Haus des Meeres.

The area is popular with families and sport‑oriented holidaymakers, yet rarely feels crowded thanks to its sheer size, and it is easily reached by train to the town, with wooden walkways guiding visitors across the extensive strand toward the water.
