Stellerburg is the northernmost Saxon ringwall fortification from the early Middle Ages, located in Weddingstedt, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, built by Saxons before Charlemagne's conquest around 804 to guard trade routes against Viking raids from the sea.

Positioned on a raised island-like terrain between marshes and moors, the ring-shaped earth-and-stone wall survives up to six meters high, enclosing wooden plank paths, small timber houses, and gates, likely serving as a temporary refuge rather than a permanent settlement until the 10th century.

Local legends recount Dithmarschen peasants destroying it to oust a ruling count, preserving its cultural significance with recent community efforts to clear overgrowth and highlight its archaeological value.
