Stranahan Arboretum in Toledo, Ohio, spans 47 acres and is managed by the University of Toledo as a field site for environmental education and research. The arboretum features a diverse collection of ornamental and mature trees from around the world, as well as native North American varieties, all set among rolling lawns, natural woods, ponds, wetlands, and restored prairie within the Oak Openings sand dune region.
