Sverresborg i Trondheim, Norge, er ruinene av kong Sverre Sigurdssons borg bygget i 1182-1183 som Norges første middelalderfestning for å forsvare Nidaros under borgerkrigen mot Magnus Erlingsson. Den steinhuggede festningen på høyden med utsikt over fjorden ble ødelagt i 1188, gjenoppbygd rundt 1197, og brukt som kongelig residens før den forfalt etter reformasjonen. Området rundt ruinene huser i dag Sverresborg Trøndelag Folkemuseum etablert i 1909 med over 80 historiske bygninger fra Trøndelag, inkludert Haltdalen stavkirke fra 1179, som viser regionens kulturhistorie fra middelalder til moderne tid.
