The Gardens on Spring Creek is an 18‑acre community botanical garden in Fort Collins, Colorado, set along the Spring Creek corridor at 2145 Centre Avenue and operated through a partnership between the City of Fort Collins and a nonprofit volunteer board.
It opened in 2004 and expanded significantly around 2017–2019, adding new themed gardens such as the Plant Select, fragrance, rose, moon, hummingbird and butterfly, foothills, and prairie areas, along with a larger visitor center and an all‑glass butterfly house that features hundreds of native North American butterflies and moths year‑round.
The site serves as both a peaceful green space and a horticultural education center, offering adult and youth classes, school tours, community events, and a family‑friendly environment where visitors of all ages can explore curated plant collections, sculpture‑enhanced landscapes, and seasonal displays while supporting local environmental stewardship.
