Torre del Castello di Caccuri, also known as Torre Mastrigli, is the iconic tower of Caccuri Castle in the hilltop town of Caccuri, Calabria.

The castle originated as a Byzantine fortress in the 6th century and was gradually transformed over the centuries into a noble residence by powerful families such as the Ruffo, Cavalcanti, and Barracco. The tower itself was added in 1882 by architect Adolfo Mastrigli and has become the symbol of both the castle and the town.

Rising above the surrounding buildings, it gives the castle its distinctive fairytale appearance and offers spectacular views over the Neto Valley, the Ionian Sea, and the Sila mountains. Today, the tower and castle are among Calabria’s most recognizable landmarks, admired for their blend of medieval heritage, noble history, and panoramic setting.
