Torre in Pietra Castle is a historic fortified estate located in Torrimpietra, near Rome, with origins dating back to the Middle Ages.

Originally built as a defensive stronghold with towers, walls, and moats, it passed through the hands of several influential noble families, including the Anguillara, Massimo, Peretti, and Falconieri families. During the 17th and 18th centuries, the castle was transformed from a military fortress into an elegant noble residence.

Renowned architect Ferdinando Fuga redesigned parts of the complex, while artist Pier Leone Ghezzi decorated its interiors with frescoes, adding artistic and architectural richness to the estate. Today, the castle is known for its beautifully preserved architecture, historic halls, gardens, and cultural significance. Surrounded by the Roman countryside, it remains one of the area's most distinctive heritage landmarks and is also associated with local wine production, events, and guided visits.
