The Tulsa Botanic Garden in Oklahoma was conceived in 1999 and officially opened to the public in 2009, situated on 170 acres donated by Persimmon Ridge LLC.

The garden began as the Oklahoma Centennial Botanical Garden Research and Education Center (OCBG) and has grown with significant development over the years, including the creation of the A.R. and Marylouise Tandy Floral Terraces, which opened in 2015. The garden features a variety of themed gardens, including the Native Plant Garden, the Asian Garden, and the Butterfly Garden, along with water features, walking trails, and educational exhibits.

It emphasizes native Oklahoma flora, conservation efforts, and sustainable practices, offering a serene setting for plant enthusiasts, families, and visitors. The garden also hosts numerous events, educational programs, and art installations, making it a vibrant community destination for outdoor recreation and environmental awareness.
