The University of Tennessee Arboretum in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, is a 250-acre research and educational facility managed by the University of Tennessee Agricultural Experiment Station.

It features over 2,500 native and exotic woody plant specimens spanning approximately 800 species, varieties, and cultivars. Established in the early 1960s on forested land acquired from the federal government, the arboretum serves as an outdoor classroom and natural laboratory for studies in botany, forestry, horticulture, and environmental science.

It includes nature trails with interpretive signs, collections of azaleas, conifers, crabapples, magnolias, oaks, and rhododendrons, along with geographic plant groupings. The arboretum is open to the public daily without charge and is recognized as a wildlife observation area and official test garden, making it a valuable resource for both scientific research and community recreation.
