Victory Beach is a long, sweeping sandy beach on the Otago Peninsula in New Zealand’s South Island, about 24 km by road from Dunedin and running along the northern shore of Okia Flat near Papanui Inlet.

It is the longest beach on the peninsula, stretching roughly 3–3.5 km along the Pacific coast, with soft sand and relatively sheltered conditions that make it pleasant for walking and exploring rather than heavy swimming. The beach gets its name from the wreck of the SS Victory, which ran aground there in 1861, and its remains can still be seen near the water at low tide, adding a historic element to the landscape.

The area is also part of the Okia Reserve, a protected coastal‑dune and wetland zone where yellow‑eyed penguins, fur seals, sea lions, and other wildlife can sometimes be spotted, making it a quiet, nature‑rich escape just a short drive from the city.
