The Walter-Meusel-Stiftung in Chemnitz, Germany, is a non-profit foundation established after the death of Walter Meusel in 1990, a musician, composer, and author of zoological and botanical books, to manage and promote his legacy in alpine and arctic plant research.

It operates the Arktisch-Alpiner Garten der Walter-Meusel-Stiftung, a specialized 2,800 square meter arctic-alpine garden founded by Meusel in 1956, featuring around 2,000 species of mountain and cold-region flora from regions like the Alps, Himalayas, and polar areas in rock gardens, troughs, and themed beds.

Open to the public seasonally, the garden serves educational and conservation purposes amid Chemnitz's green spaces, complementing the city's municipal botanical garden and attracting plant enthusiasts to its unique high-altitude and cold-climate collections.​
