Wasini Island is a small island off the southern coast of Kenya. It is located near the village of Shimoni in Kwale County. The island is about 3 kilometers from the mainland and 75 kilometers south of Mombasa.

There are no cars or roads on the island. People walk or use wheelbarrows to move things. Wasini is known for its beautiful coral reefs and marine life. Many visitors come to snorkel and dive in the nearby Kisite-Mpunguti Marine National Park. Dolphins, sea turtles, and colorful fish are often seen in the clear waters.
