Wasserschloss Trochtelfingen, also known as Stolch’sches Schloss, is a historic moated castle located in Trochtelfingen, a district of Bopfingen, Germany. First documented in 1387, the castle is situated in a valley area by the Eger river and features a nearly square layout with a main residential building, outbuildings, and a gatehouse, all protected by a substantial defensive wall and originally surrounded by a water-filled moat fed by the river.

The castle has a rich history tied to various noble families, notably the Stolch family who owned it from 1641 until 2016, and it was built partially using stones possibly sourced from Roman-era fortifications. Over centuries, the castle survived damage during wartime and periods of neglect but has recently undergone extensive renovations to preserve its structure.

Today, it remains privately owned and serves as a cultural venue with plans for exhibitions, events, and a beer garden, celebrating its long-standing historical and architectural heritage.
