Winnemark is a small municipality in the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district of Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, on the Schwansen peninsula along the southern shore of the Schlei inlet.
First mentioned as Windemark in 1462 with possible roots in Old Danish names linked to Wendish heritage, its oldest district Karlsburg (formerly Gereby since 1352) features a simple yet grand 1721 manor house reached by a protected 1737 linden avenue, once owned by nobility including the ducal house of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg.
Today, with around 545 residents, it offers rural charm, historic sites like the Schwonsburg earthworks, and connections via ferry to Arnis amid scenic coastal landscapes.
